Complimentary Mini Website Review
Each month I offer a small number of complimentary mini website reviews to established professionals who are stepping into something bigger. If that’s you, you can apply below.
If you are years into your work and your site still reflects an earlier version of your business, it may be holding you back. Particularly as you move towards something bigger.
A mini website review gives you a clear, considered look at one page or your Squarespace site as a whole. If your website feels like an overwhelming thing to tackle, this is a good place to begin. Not because it solves everything but because it tells you where to start.
How it works
Fill out the form and tell me a little about your work and what you're working towards.
I review applications once a month and will let you know if your application is accepted.
If selected, your Loom video arrives within ten working days.
Offered in the spirit of a gift economy
The mini website review is offered in the spirit of a gift economy: freely given, with no follow up pitch or obligation to work together.
If, however, you would like to go further after the review, the Half Day Intensive is the natural next step.

“I made changes based on Ali's feedback the same week. My site now feels more streamlined and clear because she helped me see what was working and what was getting in the way. A great service.”
– Skylar Liberty Rose, midlife support coach & meditation teacher
What I look out for
I take a holistic approach to websites, which means I'm looking at the whole picture, not just isolated elements. Every site is different, so I follow what I find. But for the kinds of work my clients do and the opportunities they're stepping into – programmes, retreats, books, keynotes, signature offerings – I’m often looking at:
Whether someone landing on your site immediately grasps not just what you do, but the depth, maturity and distinctiveness of your approach.
Whether your messaging reflects where you are now and where you’re heading, rather than where you were several years ago.
Whether the visual presentation matches the calibre of your work or works against it.
Whether the page you’re launching from – a programme page, a speaking page, a newly updated about page – is ready to do the job you need it to do.
Whether it’s obvious what a visitor should do next.
What a potential client or event organiser might hesitate over and why.
Who this is for
This is a good fit if you're a coach, therapist, consultant, author or speaker who is years into your work and whose website hasn't kept pace with where you are now. Perhaps you are on the cusp of a programme launch, a book or a bigger speaking presence and you want a quick view of whether your site is ready.
A lot of the people I speak to feel stuck when it comes to their website because they are too close to it to see it clearly. They know something isn't quite right but they don't know where to start. That's exactly what this is for.
Please note: these reviews are for Squarespace websites only.
What you get
Think of the mini review as a pressure test: a clear-eyed view of whether your site is ready to support the opportunity in front of you.
An honest first impression, backed by 20 years of design, marketing and communications experience.
A short Loom video delivered within ten working days if your site is selected.
Two or three clear, focused suggestions on what's worth prioritising first.
If you want to go further
The mini review gives you a clear starting point and for some people, that's all they need.
For others, the natural next step is a Half Day Intensive: three hours where I roll up my sleeves and work directly on your site, making the changes for you.
“Managing my own website is one of the challenges of establishing and running my floristry business, and definitely an area I didn't have a lot of experience in. Ali was able to suggest simple and effective changes that made the whole website more cohesive and enhanced the user experience. She was professional, easy to work with and took the time to understand my work. I'd highly recommend taking the opportunity to review your website with her."
– Holly Wlaznik, Flowers From The Glade – florist and flower grower
Where design meets strategy
I am a Squarespace website designer with more than 20 years’ experience in design, marketing and communications, including a decade in publishing. I have always worked at the intersection of creativity, strategy and communication.
Every decision – your words, your visual identity, your site structure – is considered in terms of how it communicates your signature approach, your professional maturity and the results you deliver. I work to make your brand feel unmistakably like you while speaking with precision to the people you most want to reach.
