About Ali Swanton

Squarespace websites for work you’ve grown into and the legacy you’re shaping.

A website should reflect the depth of your experience

Twenty years in design, marketing and communications has shaped a clear point of view:

Your website isn’t just a menu of offerings, it’s a reflection of your professional maturity, your signature approach and the results you deliver.

I work with established practitioners creating work for the long term. Often, their experience is naturally evolving into leadership, even if they don’t yet feel ready to claim the ‘leader’ title. I design Squarespace websites that reflect both their depth and the legacy they’re shaping.

Many clients come to me after trying the DIY route, finding it time-consuming, frustrating or misaligned with the quality of their work.

Your website can be so much more than a digital brochure

It can be a foundation for your next chapter, showing your unique approach and supporting the legacy you’re already shaping.

Through our collaborative process, your website becomes a confident, professional presence that feels aligned with your work and your values. We clarify your goals, refine your messaging, and create a site that truly communicates who you are and the impact you make.

The result is a site that’s clear, polished and ready for growth. And all without you spending hours upon hours on technical details trying to figure out everything on your own. My aim is to help you feel confident in how your work is represented and to create a digital presence that feels like a natural extension of what you do.

Who I work with

I work with established practitioners, consultants and creative professionals who are ready to move their work forward, expanding their reach, sharing their expertise and stepping into new opportunities.

  • Coaches, therapists and wellness practitioners who are helping people grow, heal and transform, often launching new programmes, retreats or workshops to reach wider audiences.

  • Consultants, authors and service professionals who are refining their signature offerings, writing books, sharing their ideas on larger stages and speaking at industry events.

Across all these roles, my clients are stepping into opportunities where their expertise is recognised, their contributions are valued and they can make a bigger impact.

My beliefs

These are the principles that guide me in both life and work:

1) Do what you love

Create a business and life that aligns with your soul’s purpose. This is your legacy work and I’m here to help you express it clearly and confidently. The world needs your crystalised wisdom and I’m here to help you share it in ways that resonate and inspire.

2) Thoughtful, intentional design creates meaningful impact

When every detail is considered, your work feels well crafted, grounded and real. As a quiet yet ambitious person with an idealistic heart, I bring a sensitive and intuitive lens to every project, listening to the heart of your business and connecting it with the needs of your audience.

3) There's no one way of doing things

Every business has its own story, and every person has their own path. The best results come from tuning into what feels right for you: a holistic approach that aligns your values, skills and knowledge with the desires of your clients.

4) Great things are rarely achieved alone

Together, we can create something greater than the sum of its parts. The magic happens when ideas flow, strengths combine and a shared vision takes shape. So let’s talk, let’s share and let’s build something beautiful, together.

5) There’s beauty, joy and magic in the world – we just need to be open to it

As someone who feels the world deeply, I see beauty and joy not only in grand gestures but in life’s smallest, quietest moments. These reassure us, offer us glimmers of hope and a reminder that life is layered with meaning and worth savouring.

How I got here

With a degree in illustration (2003) and a background in marketing and communications, my work naturally evolved toward website projects, where design, strategy and messaging meet.

I launched my business in 2017 and refined my focus in 2023 to specialise exclusively in Squarespace website design, bringing over 20 years of experience into one clear, strategic offering.

Today, I design beautiful, strategic Squarespace websites that position established practitioners and leaders for growth and meaningful connection with the right clients.

Joyful things outside of my cosy studio

I’m naturally introverted and highly sensitive, so I recharge best in quiet, restorative spaces. I love spending time in nature – woodland walks, gardening and tending to flowers, and watching the birds that feed on the rowan tree berries in my garden.

I also enjoy reading, journalling, pilates and good food. These things nourish me and help keep my creativity steady.

When it comes to working with people, I’m most energised by deep, meaningful conversation. This is the kind of energy I bring to every collaboration, whether that’s creating a website for a client or exploring ways to work with other practitioners and creatives.

“You've helped me in lots of ways, Ali. I chose to work with you because you are not afraid to be honest and you are good at what you do. Plus, you're a calming influence and generally nice to be around!”
