Michela Modolo

Mind-body practitioner

Michela works with women navigating periods of change. Often in midlife and at a point where something no longer fits, following caring duties for their children or parents. They feel disconnected from themselves, their body or their direction.

Michela works with two core modalities – PSYCH-K® belief transformation and 5Rhythms® movement meditation – bringing them back into alignment, restoring confidence and clarity on how to move forward.

Based between Dubai and London, she works with clients internationally through 1:1 sessions and group classes.

“Working with Ali was a gift. She offers a rare combination of design skill and marketing insight, with Squarespace capability. I could talk with her not just about the mechanics of a website, but also about how best to communicate my message.

She took what I knew about my work and translated it into something that connects with the people I want to work with. She got what I wanted to do immediately.”

Challenge

The website needed to communicate the standard of Michela’s work and the aspirations of her clients without feeling out of reach. Premium rather than exclusive.

Her clients are often uncertain but ready. The site had to feel elevated and confident, while still allowing someone to recognise themselves and take the first step.

It also needed to support multiple offers across locations, make booking straightforward and position Michela as a credible practitioner.

Approach

The design reflects both the level Michela is working at and the shift her clients are looking for.

  • Colour and visual language: A restrained palette of cream and sand creates space and calm, while khaki and charcoal (instead of black) introduce depth. The lime accent is used with intent. It signals vitality, awakening and forward movement, a feeling central to Michela’s work and the transformation she offers her clients.

A bold close up photograph of lime, mint and water reinforces this. It communicates a phrase Michela uses often: ‘cracking open’ and introduces a sense of vitality and effervescence. A fresh, energised quality that also connects to fragrance, one of the defining words established in the brand direction.

The result is a visual identity that feels composed, distinctive and recognisable.

  • Typography: Gilda Display is used for headings, bringing a sense of authority and contrast with Almarai Light which is used for body text. Almarai was selected for its support of both Latin and Arabic scripts, making it a natural fit for Michela’s Dubai-based audience and ensuring consistency across languages.

  • Website: The structure is built around clarity and movement. Michela’s two core offers are clearly separated so that visitors can quickly understand what each one is, who it is for and how to engage. Calls to action are placed in key areas throughout. A TidyCal calendar integration (an add-on to the website design package) allows direct booking for discovery calls and paid sessions making it easy for clients to take the next step without delay.

  • Language accessibility: An Italian translation via Weglot was implemented as an add on to the project. This supports Michela’s existing client base and allows her work to be accessed more easily by Italian speaking clients, strengthening connection and removing a potential barrier to enquiry.

“I was building a private practice, so a website was a significant investment. I knew it would be the primary way potential clients would decide whether to reach out.

The website reflects both who I am as a therapist and what I offer my clients. Space, calm and the possibility of change. When I look at it, I think ‘yes, that’s me’.”

– Lois Dabrowski, Limen Therapy

Solution

The website presents Michela’s work with clarity and precision. It supports both enquiry and direct booking, allowing potential clients to move forward without hesitation.

It also creates a foundation for growth across locations, services and future offerings.
