I have spent more than 20 years working across design, marketing and communications, including 16 years at publishing companies: an industry built on positioning ideas, expertise and voices for exactly the right audience.

We define how your brand looks and feels. Your colour palette, typography and overall visual direction are refined collaboratively until everything feels aligned and intentional.

The homepage is created first, setting the visual tone and structure for the rest of the site. You’ll review and provide feedback before the remaining pages are built.

Refine & publish (week three)
We finalise and polish the full website together, refine any last details, and then publish. You’ll also receive a personalised training video and 14 days of email support as you settle in.

Then, if you would like to move forward, the first stage is preparation. This includes a strategy call to align on your goals and a Brand & Website Workbook to guide your content and image gathering. Design begins once everything is ready.

If you choose to proceed, we move into the preparation stage. This includes a strategy call to define direction and priorities, followed by a Brand & Website Workbook designed to shape your content and imagery. Once everything is in place, the design process begins.

Before anything is built, we establish how your brand looks and feels. Your colour palette, typography and brand direction are refined together until they feel right.

Website build (week two)
I begin with your homepage, where the overall look, feel and direction takes shape. You review and give feedback and before I build out the remaining pages.

Refine & publish (week three)
We review the completed site together, refine the final details and publish. You receive a personalised training video, followed by 14 days of email support as you settle in.

Your email list is yours: a direct, reliable channel to the people who want to hear from you, unaffected by algorithms or platform changes.
This add-on includes everything you need to get started: importing your existing list, domain verification, a branded email template, an email capture form and a three-part welcome sequence (you provide the content).

Primarily your website copy and images. The Brand and Website Workbook guides you through exactly what's needed. Your content may receive light editing as part of the process.
Professional photography makes a significant difference. A good headshot and a small set of brand images will elevate the site considerably. Stock imagery is available if photography isn't yet in place and I can advise on briefing your photographer when you're ready.

I provide content guidance and light refinement throughout, drawing on my marketing, communications and publishing background. For a full copywriting service I'm happy to recommend specialists I trust and can work closely alongside them.

Hosting: This is with Squarespace and as a Circle Gold member, I can offer you 20% off your first year on annual plans. View Squarespace pricing.
Domain name: You’ll purchase your domain (your website URL) through a registrar such as Fasthosts, 123 Reg, GoDaddy, or directly through Squarespace.
