Squarespace support session terms of service
By confirming this booking, you agree to the following terms for a Squarespace support session provided by Ali Swanton.
What’s included
A 3-hour focused Squarespace Support Session, working directly on your website based on a clear, prioritised list of tasks you provide in advance.
The session will take place on your booked date during my working hours (typically 9am–5pm BST/GMT, Monday to Friday).
At the end of the session, you’ll receive a summary of what has been completed, along with any relevant notes or recommendations for next steps.
Before your session
You are required to send a clear, prioritised list of updates ahead of your session.
Please also ensure to add me as a contributor to your Squarespace site before the session begins.
Tasks should be specific and actionable (for example, “update homepage copy” rather than “refresh website”), and ordered so the most important work is clearly identified.
Any copy, images, videos or supporting assets must be provided at the same time via Google Drive, Dropbox or a similar file-sharing service.
This preparation is essential to ensure the session time is used effectively.
If a list or assets are not provided in advance, the session will still go ahead as booked, but time may not be fully optimised.
During the session
You do not need to be on a call, but you should be available by email in case any quick clarifications are needed. This helps keep work moving efficiently within the allocated time.
Scope of work
This session is designed to complete focused updates within a defined timeframe.
If your list exceeds what can be completed within 3 hours, I’ll work through it in the order you’ve prioritised. Any remaining tasks can be booked as a follow-up session.
Larger or undefined requests (such as full website rebuilds or broad “site refreshes”) fall outside the scope of this session.
After the session
This service includes only the work completed within the 3-hour session.
Any additional updates or further support can be booked separately.
Payment & booking
The fee for a Squarespace Support Session is £395, payable in full to confirm your booking.
Your session is reserved once payment has been received.
Additional costs
The session fee covers my time and expertise.
Any third-party costs (such as paid fonts, stock imagery, plugins or tools) are not included and will always be discussed with you before being incurred.
Use of work
All work completed during the session is for your use. You are free to publish, share or build on it as needed.
Sharing the work
I may share selected aspects of the work (such as before/after screenshots or feedback) for portfolio or marketing purposes.
This will always be done respectfully and without sharing sensitive or confidential information.
Rescheduling & refunds
Sessions are non-refundable.
If you need to reschedule, please provide at least 7 days’ notice and I’ll be happy to move your booking to a new date.
Sessions must be rescheduled within 90 days of the original date. If no new date is arranged within that time, or if less than 7 days’ notice is given, the session will be forfeited.
